Terms and Conditions
These terms of service constitute a legally binding agreement (the “Agreement”) between you (“you,” or “your”) and GlassMobi.com, “GlassMobi” (“we,” “us” or “our”) governing your use of the GlassMobi.com web system application, website, and technology platform.
GlassMobi is an independent provider of retail auto glass and related services. Any person who request a service or price quote from GlassMobi or accesses the GlassMobi.com is considered a “User”. For purposes of this Agreement, the automobile glass repair and replacement service(s) provided by GlassMobi to Users that are matched through the Platform shall be referred to collectively as the “Services”.
Text Messaging and E-Mails
By using the GlassMobi.com web site and platform, you agree that GlassMobi may send you informational text (SMS) messages and e-mails as part of the normal business operation of your use of the Services. You acknowledge that messaging data rates may apply.
Credit/Debit Card Payments & Refunds
Any credit or debit card authorization, payment capture, or charge, or similar (Apple Pay, PayPal, etc.) provided by User for as payment for Services hereby referred to as “Charges”. Charges do not include insurance deductible or any insurance payments. Please refer “Insurance” for more information in insurance billing policies.
Facilitation of Payments
All Charges are facilitated through a third-party payment processing service (e.g., Square, Inc., PayPal, Inc., First Data, Inc. etc.). GlassMobi.com may replace its third-party payment processing services without notice to you. Charges shall only be made through the GlassMobi.com or GlassMobi. Cash payments are strictly prohibited.
Credit Card Hold and Payment
Upon scheduling of appointment for Services, you agree to grant GlassMobi permission to place an Authorization Hold on your credit or debit card for up to 14 business days. If you elect not to use our services at least 24 hours before work has been performed the hold will be removed in accordance with our “cancellation” and “refund” policy. Once GlassMobi has performed Services as indicated by the assigned technician(s), the credit or debit card provided will be charged the quoted amount. Otherwise, cancellation terms of this agreement, and all other terms and conditions provided by GlassMobi shall still apply.
Pricing and Quoting
All charges will be communicated via e-mail, SMS, facsimile, or telephone prior to the User providing payment information. This offered pricing constitutes a “Quote” from GlassMobi. Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise noted. If additional services, parts, moldings, or labor are required at the time of Services are rendered these additional charges will be presented to User before any additional Charges are performed.
Post Installation Instructions
In order to maximize the probability of a lasting leak-free replacement for windshields, please take the following precautions. Do not wash your car for 4 days after installation. If possible, leave your windows slightly open to avoid large changes of air pressure. Remove retention tape within 60 minutes of replacement. Do not drive your car for at least one hour after installation for purposes of satisfying federal safety standards. Some features, on late model cars with Advanced Drive Assist Systems, may need to be re-calibrated by a Factory Certified Professional after the windshield is replaced. The Customer is entirely liable for the costs of re-calibration of safety systems at a Factory Authorized Location. Examine the interior of your car for glass particles and debris. The technician will attempt to vacuum any glass and debris at the time of installation but it is highly recommended that you have your car detailed at your earliest convenience. Caution should be used when turning on AC or Defrost after having glass replaced as glass particles may fall into the vents. Some systems turn on automatically or start from being left on when the key is turned to ignition. Suitable precautions should be taken to prevent injury.
Users of GlassMobi Services who opt to pay using insurance must authorize receipt of goods and services requested. You must confirm that all services already performed by GlassMobi were performed in a professional manner to their complete satisfaction. If you agree to utilize your insurance policy for coverage of GlassMobi services, you authorize your insurance, fleet, or leasing company to pay GlassMobi “GlassMobi.com” directly for any claim on your behalf for Services. You understand you are personally responsible for payment of all or any portion of any invoice for Services not covered by your insurance, fleet or leasing company.
Should you elect to pay using Insurance the total charges will be estimated based on information you provide about type of coverage. Based on this estimate it may be necessary for you to pay a deductible. If your insurance company elects to not cover some or all of the charges you will be responsible for all unpaid charges.
Once your appointment date and time has been confirmed, GlassMobi commits many resources to ensure your service(s) will be performed as promised. There is no charge or penalty for cancellations made before confirming a service appointment date and time. However once service appointment is scheduled or confirmed or payment made there will be minimum $99 cancellation charge applies. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your confirmed service date and time to avoid further charges. If you do not cancel your appointment at least 48 hours prior to your confirmed service date and time, the credit or debit card you provided for payment will be charged a cancellation fee of $99 plus no-show fee of minimum $99, a part(s) restocking fee of minimum $25 in addition to any applicable charges and fees explained in “refunds”.
Refunds shall be granted upon customer request before any repair/replacement services have been performed, provided your request is made during the current GlassMobi hours of operation, and at least 48 hours prior to the confirmed service date and time. In the event you cancel your service appointment less than 48 hours prior to your confirmed service date and time, GlassMobi will retain all or a portion of the confirmed job estimate, including but not limited to any cancellation, restocking, shipping, document, or application fees. After Services have been rendered or once we have replaced your auto glass, we are unable to refund your money. However, we warranty that your new auto glass and its installation will be free from defects in workmanship. Please review our Limited Warranty for more information.
GlassMobi warrants installation of new automotive glass to be free from defects in material and workmanship upon delivery, subject to this Limited Warranty. This warranty does not cover any damage to glass that is not due to defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty will commence only upon GlassMobi’s receipt of full payment for the products and services that are the subject of the warranty. Unauthorized charge backs will void the warranty. This warranty is null and void if damage or glass is repaired or replaced without notification and prior authorization from GlassMobi. Any problems caused by installation error, such as wind and water, leaks, loose moldings and some types of stress cracks, will, at the option of GlassMobi, be repaired or replaced at no cost to you. This Limited Warranty is for 30 Days and non- transferable. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty you must present your original invoice as proof of repair or replacement to GlassMobi. All work under this warranty must also be performed at a location specified by GlassMobi. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER leakage or stress cracks caused by preexisting rust, structural damage, cracks in the pinch weld, damage to the A-pillar or roof, or any other condition that modifies the original factory configuration of the car or other damage caused by vandalism or impact with foreign objects. GlassMobi will make a reasonable effort to inform you of damage or rust prior to removal of the existing glass. Some damage, especially rust, may not be observable prior to removal of the side moldings or glass. GlassMobi will notify you of any damage found upon discovery of such damage. Broken side windows, back glass, and vent glass tend to cause distribution of glass particles and other debris into the interior of the car, window tracks, latching mechanisms, and heater/AC vents. Damage caused to window mechanisms due to glass particles and debris is NOT our responsibility and is beyond our control. A specialized mechanic may be needed in the event mechanisms are rendered inoperable or impaired by glass and debris. The customer is solely responsible for the cost of repairs to such mechanisms. If GlassMobi has made chip repairs to your automobile glass and you are not satisfied with such repair, GlassMobi will credit cost of the chip repair toward replacement of the glass by GlassMobi. In the event you request a repair of a rock chip or other damage caused by impact with foreign objects or vandalism, you agree that GlassMobi shall not be responsible for breakage that occurs in attempting such repairs.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF YOUR WINDSHIELD AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. This exclusive remedy will not be deemed to have failed of its essential purpose so long as GlassMobi is willing and able to repair or replace the automotive glass installed. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR USE. GlassMobi makes no other warranties of any kind and any repair to attempt to the automotive glass installed by anyone other GlassMobi automatically voids this Limited Warranty. Any oral or written statement concerning the automotive glass installed inconsistent with this Limited Warranty shall be of no force or effect.
